Michael Page Finance are recruiting a new, long term fixed term contract Purchase Ledger Clerk position for a Professional Services business based on the outskirts of York City Centre. Due to internal projects taking place, our client requires a candidate to start immediately and can offer flexible working hours and hybrid working.
Description
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Processing invoices on a daily basis and ensuring accuracy is maintained
- Identifying any queries or discrepancies and rectifying these as soon as possible
- Setting up supplier accounts and supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensuring invoices are coded and matched correctly to the correct nominal codes
- Working with the wider Accounts Payable team to ensure operations are running efficiently and smoothly
Profile
- Will have held a similar role previously and be confident with the duties listed above.
- Will be immediately available or have a reduced notice period.
- Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work effectively in a large, fast paced Finance function.
Job Offer
Salary up to £25,000 per annum + long term Fixed Term Contract + high possibility this role will be extended or made permanent + excellent staff benefits + flexible working hours + hybrid working contract + 25 days annual leave pro rata.
