As Park Manager you will lead and inspire a motivated team to uphold the core values of pride, passion, teamwork, and delivering exceptional "WOW" moments for my clients Family leisure park based in North Yorkshire.

From day one you will take full responsibility for the business, managing profit and loss, and using financial insight and customer feedback to drive revenue growth.

Your focus will be on coaching and developing the management team to enhance the customer experience for every visitor. As a leader passionate about people, leisure, hospitality, and active play, you'll balance daily operations with strategic planning and forecasting.

You will act as a brand ambassador, seizing business development opportunities and forming key partnerships to elevate the Parks success. With a commercial mindset and a blend of creativity, boldness, and curiosity, you'll build a culture that embodies these qualities.

The role is paying £50k per annum with attractive benefits. The working hours are 40hours per week including weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the park upholds the company values by maintaining high standards in park operations, customer service, activities, parties, and a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include managing and developing the management team, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with H&S and F&B regulations.

The focus is on delivering excellent customer experiences, managing costs, and improving park performance.

Additionally, you'll build local brand partnerships, drive business development, manage KPIs, and ensure events are well-advertised and successful.

Collaboration with other Park Managers and teams is key, alongside personal skill and community development

Skills

  • 5+ years in strategic leadership roles
  • Profit and loss management experience
  • Strong financial and KPI management skills
  • Proven track record in leading large teams
  • Knowledge of workplace welfare and EDI practices
  • Excellent customer service and engagement
  • Familiarity with industry H&S standards and compliance
  • Experience in business development, sales, and outreach
  • Successful event planning and execution
  • Background in hospitality, leisure, or events
  • Proficient with technology and Microsoft applications
  • Service-led industry experience (e.g., adventure parks, family leisure)
  • Desirable qualifications: IOSH, First Aid, Alcohol license.
