I am seeking a dynamicAssistant Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of maintenance, compliance, and operational excellence across our portfolio. With a focus on quality, safety, and value for money, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards for your clients.Your new roleYou'll oversee the compliant and timely execution of maintenance and response works, ensuring all statutory, health, and safety standards are met. Collaborating with supply chain teams, you'll ensure resources, vehicles, and equipment are optimised for efficient service delivery. Risk assessments, compliance with JSP 375, and adherence to Legionella, Asbestos, and other safety plans will form key aspects of your role.Supporting stakeholders is at the heart of this position. You'll act as a trusted point of contact for end users, providing technical advice, resolving issues, and guiding the development of new work requirements. You'll supervise teams, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality results.

What you'll need to succeedYour background includes an HNC-level qualification (or equivalent) in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, paired with hands-on experience in planned and response maintenance management. You'll hold (or be willing to attain) designations such as Legionella Responsible Person, Asbestos Responsible Person, or Temporary Works Responsible Person.With strong IT skills and a proven track record in managing small projects, you're adept at balancing operational demands with compliance and financial objectives. A management-level qualification in Health & Safety (e.g., SMSTS) and experience in project management will set you apart.
