A SNAPSHOT OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER'S DAY...

  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both soft and hard services on-site, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and in line with client expectations
  • Working alongside the Account Manager, you will lead and manage the team to deliver exceptional service and operational standards
  • Your role will include managing a site team, overseeing third-party contractors, and ensuring health and safety compliance across the estate
  • People management and motivate the facilities assistants
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by attending meetings and ensuring that service standards align with operational needs and business objectives
  • Oversee third-party service providers to ensure that services meet the agreed standards in line with the contractual agreements
  • Understand client requirements and budgets, manage quotations, and raise required documents on necessary platforms for client approvals
  • Conduct daily building walks to ensure that office environments remain clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Manage health and safety compliance

The IDEAL PERSON

  • Proven people manager, customer focussed and service orientated
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation and guidance
  • Previous Facilities Management experience
  • Good IT skills essential for the role, Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint
  • Knowledge and experience in regard to business administration and work management to support a range of customers and stakeholders
