FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

A SNAPSHOT OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER'S DAY...
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both soft and hard services on-site, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and in line with client expectations
- Working alongside the Account Manager, you will lead and manage the team to deliver exceptional service and operational standards
- Your role will include managing a site team, overseeing third-party contractors, and ensuring health and safety compliance across the estate
- People management and motivate the facilities assistants
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by attending meetings and ensuring that service standards align with operational needs and business objectives
- Oversee third-party service providers to ensure that services meet the agreed standards in line with the contractual agreements
- Understand client requirements and budgets, manage quotations, and raise required documents on necessary platforms for client approvals
- Conduct daily building walks to ensure that office environments remain clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Manage health and safety compliance

- Proven people manager, customer focussed and service orientated
- Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation and guidance
- Previous Facilities Management experience
- Good IT skills essential for the role, Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint
- Knowledge and experience in regard to business administration and work management to support a range of customers and stakeholders
