W are seeking a Senior MI Analyst to be the driving force behind the development and optimisation of Power BI solutions. This role is pivotal in enabling operational teams to achieve strategic goals through the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Power BI development, including proficiency in DAX and SQL, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, utilising DAX and SQL for robust and dynamic data visualisations.
  • Optimise and enhance Power BI solutions to meet evolving business needs and deliver impactful insights.
  • Understand operational teams' data analysis needs and tailor Power BI solutions accordingly.
  • Communicate complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Improve the MI delivery process, leveraging Power BI skills to streamline reporting and increase efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship in Power BI competencies, fostering a culture of development and growth.
  • Oversee governance of KPI changes and definitions, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage the allocation of BAU work, prioritising tasks effectively based on Power BI development understanding.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong team player with the ability to forge relationships across senior stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering MI through data visualisation tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Power BI professional accreditation or working towards it.
  • Proficiency or working towards proficiency in DAX, SQL, R, and Python.
