Summary:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and IT-focused individual to join a rapidly growing MSP as a Service Desk Analyst. You'll play a key role in supporting over clients across the UK, delivering fast and efficient IT resolutions. If you're looking to develop your skills in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional customer service, this role is for you!

This is a hybrid role based in York, with three days in-office and two days working from home.

As the first point of contact for IT support, you'll help resolve a wide range of technical issues, collaborate with internal teams, and keep end-users updated to maintain a high level of customer service.

The Role:

You'll be supporting internal systems and remote sites, ensuring that IT issues are diagnosed and resolved efficiently. Whether you're troubleshooting software, hardware, or liaising with clients, your ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively will be key. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, where priorities shift quickly, making every day varied and challenging.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a first response to IT issues
  • Delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring users are informed and supported
  • Troubleshooting Windows OS, hardware, networking, and telephony systems
  • Managing incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
  • Supporting software, hardware, and virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V)

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience with Windows OS & O365
  • Knowledge of IT hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers)
  • Active Directory
  • Basic networking and VoIP system support
  • Hyper-V Support
  • Previous 1st line support experience
