This Brigg Scientific client is an established Food and Beverage manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit an Analytical Chemist for an immediate start on a nine-month fixed term contract.
Key duties will include:
- LC, GC and Ion Chromatography analysis of products
- Adherence to established SOPs
- Routine fat / sugar content testing
- Some QA duties
- Maintenance of food hygiene and safety standards
Experience from nutrition based studies and / or commercial exposure would be a distinct advantage as would previously working within an ISO17025 quality environment.
The salary for this role is £24.4k and is based on site working a 37 hour week, Monday to Friday. This position is a 9 month fixed term contract and is an opportunity to further your analytical career with a household name.
