Area Sales Manager - Building materials
- This is a field based role
- Representing a market leading in manufacturer of landscaping materials who have a strong foothold and a fantastic reputation.
- This is an 80% account management role developing accounts and gaining additional business with national and independent builders merchants & buying groups - dealing with the likes of MKM Huws Gray, Jewsons, Bradford, Fortis NGB and H&B.
- You will develop pre-existing relationships with Procurement, Area Director's and Branch Manager's identifying and gaining incremental growth opportunities within accounts.
- You will support the Key and National Account team and be responsible for c £10M across around 80 accounts and 1500 branches nationally.

The candidate for the Area Sales Manager role
Ideally you will have worked for a construction manufacturer and sold into builders merchants
Our client will also consider candidates that have worked for a manufacturer and sold into other routes to market
You must have strong commercial sales skills and behaviours with a strong, stable track record
