Day-to-day of the role:

  • Generate new business opportunities across various sectors, focusing on joinery, furniture, retail fixtures, signage, and interiors.
  • Manage your own diary and schedule to maximise productivity and business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities and progress.
  • Engage with potential clients and develop long-term relationships
  • Travel as necessary to meet potential clients and attend industry events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in joinery, furniture, retail fixtures, signage, branding, or interiors.
  • Strong ability to generate new business and not just manage existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with the ability to manage own diary effectively.
  • Familiarity with regular reporting and performance metrics.
