Day-to-day of the role:
- Generate new business opportunities across various sectors, focusing on joinery, furniture, retail fixtures, signage, and interiors.
- Manage your own diary and schedule to maximise productivity and business opportunities.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities and progress.
- Engage with potential clients and develop long-term relationships
- Travel as necessary to meet potential clients and attend industry events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in joinery, furniture, retail fixtures, signage, branding, or interiors.
- Strong ability to generate new business and not just manage existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and energetic with the ability to manage own diary effectively.
- Familiarity with regular reporting and performance metrics.
