Reed Sales & Marketing are incredibly excited to be working with a nationally established Roofing & Cladding company in their search for a Business Development Manager.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. Specialising in roofing and cladding products, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building strong relationships, and identifying new opportunities within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase market share and achieve revenue targets across the UK.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the roofing and cladding sector, targeting contractors, architects, developers, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and project management, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
  • Take ownership of the sales process.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Attendance to Client offices and site visits as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within the roofing, cladding, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems and their applications.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
