Our client with offices in London, Ireland, and Sweden and partners in Germany and Spain is looking to hire an experienced Healthcare Partnership Manager to cover the Northeast of England territory and join their highly motivated and driven team
The main purpose of this role will be to deal with primary and secondary care clients to deliver sales in the branded pharmaceutical business, meeting or exceeding sales targets by utilising customer data and market insights to develop and implement bespoke engagement plans for different customer groups to deliver value that ultimately drives sales.
Suitable candidates must be ABPI qualified.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Performance:
- Deliver sales targets specified in the plan in order to increase sales and market share growth of the brands, entailing regular review of performance and adjustment of engagement activities in response to customer feedback.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal contribution ensuring individual sales targets are met or exceeded.
Customer Management and Planning:
- Gather customer insights and profile customers to ensure optimal data is available to inform activity and plans.
- Build a regional/national Customer Engagement plan utilising environmental data, market insights and knowledge of influencers to create a bespoke plan aligned to the Brand strategy, which adds value to the customer through agreed shared agendas.
- Leverage the value and expertise of the entire organisation to coordinate resources to present 'one face to the customer' to build long-term relationships while meeting short-term revenue objectives.
Implementation and Delivery:
- Accountable for the implementation and delivery of the customer engagement plan.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs for management of customer meetings.
Market Access:
- Monitor and keep pace with environmental changes; map and manage stakeholders and influencers to ensure prescribers and patients have access to products.
- Identification and mapping of the national/regional service provision and funding processes across the health economy
- Lead service improvement and redesign to optimise the prescribing of branded pharmaceuticals
- Provide insights for the brand to support the development of value propositions and marketing assets to achieve market access
Cross-functional Working:
- Facilitate and ensure effective cross-functional working, in order to inform brand plans, customer engagement plans and decision making.
- Ensure appropriate engagement of internal stakeholders and use of resources to deliver optimal value and support achievement of customer engagement plan.
Previous Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be ABPI qualified, with attention to remaining Code compliant and maintaining Company standards.
- Must have previous experience dealing with primary and secondary care.
- Thorough understanding of the healthcare environment, priorities, and networks
- Aptitude to develop a high level of product, competitor, therapy area and brand strategy knowledge
- Demonstrable account management experience and proven commercial sales success within the pharmaceutical industry
- Highly analytical with a preference for working with data
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to make assumptions on available data.
- Curious and inquisitive - solution-oriented and innovative,
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident assertive communicator - able to influence others.
- Highly computer literate with competence in working with multiple systems/Sirius and other technology platforms (including MS Office).
- Business planning skills, with experience in producing business proposals/cases.
