Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a company of the future providing renewable energy for businesses around the UK looking to save the planet with carbon neutral energy solutions.

You will be a skilled sales professional, who leverages their persuasive abilities to engage potential customers and drive sales through face-to-face interactions.

You will be joining an exciting business in the renewable energy industry. The company utilizes innovative technology and has a unique service offering that is almost too good to be true. Consequently, their growth has been rapid and now need further sales executives to capitalise on this truly amazing offering that clients are falling over themselves to acquire. No sale is easy, but this is as good as it gets!

They have a lead generating and verification team that provides you with qualified appointments with clients who want to buy.

Objectives of this role

  • Attend face to face sales meeting
  • Research potential clients
  • Attend exhibitions/conferences
  • Create and distribute marketing materials
  • Maintain your social media presence
  • Produce meaningful proposals in conjunction with the design team.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with potential customers to build relationships and increase the likelihood of sales conversions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to provide qualified relevant information for an effective follow-up.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends and competitor offerings to position their products or services in the market.
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to promote their products or services.
  • Building rapport with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Addressing customer concerns and overcoming objections to influence buying decisions through persuasive sales conversations.
  • Collaborating with sales coordinator to schedule appointments, demos or consultations for qualified leads.
  • Achieving or exceeding individual sales targets and goals.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Renewables experience preferred
  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear and confident phone manner, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
  • Understanding of the economy, market trends and competitors landscape.
  • Solid persuasive and negotiation abilities to influence buying decisions.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a sales-driven role.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems or sales software.
  • Hard work ethic, professionalism, integrity and a positive attitude in all customer interactions.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
