Sales Executive

  • Salary: £13 per hour plus bonus opportunities paying £200-600+ a month extra
  • Contract Type: Temporary (3-month contract) with a potential of permanent roles
  • Location: York Ring Road
  • Working hours: Rotation working alternative weekends. Weekdays are 12-8pm and Weekends are 10-6pm. 37.5 hours a week.

We are seeking motivated and results-driven Sales Executives to join our incredible client based in the ring road on a temporary basis.

You will be responsible for contacting customers who have recently signed up for their free basic plan, with the objective of upgrading them to one of their paid services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Proactively contacting recently signed-up warm customers to introduce the benefits of upgrading to a paid service.
  • Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our paid plans.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all service plans to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Address customer concerns and objections in a professional and persuasive manner to close sales opportunities.
  • Accurately update customer records and track interactions in the CRM system to ensure efficient follow-up and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in upselling or cross-selling is a strong advantage.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to explain product benefits clearly and tailor pitches to individual customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and telephony systems is desirable but training will be provided.
  • Basic proficiency in using office tools like Excel and email platforms.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident and professional phone manner.
  • Active listening skills to identify customer needs and build trust.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple calls and tasks efficiently.
