Sales ManagerOverview

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Sales Manager to lead, manage, and develop this Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing the conversion rate of every telephone enquiry while ensuring a world-class level of customer experience. If you are driven, customer-focused, and have aproven track record of achieving sales targets in a contact centre environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Sales team to deliver their accountabilities and responsibilities.
  • Build and improve capability and motivation within the team through coaching, feedback, and empowerment.
  • Drive a performance and customer-focused culture within the team, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
  • Create and drive a high-performing, motivational sales environment, ensuring the team is energised to achieve their targets and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure operational excellence and the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage and foster relationships with suppliers and third parties.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the team’s output and performance.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions.
  • Make improvements to the parts the team plays in the customer journey.
  • Be part of the on-call team on a rota basis.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience of leading teams to achieve sales targets in a contact centre environment.
  • Proven experience of improving the customer experience.
  • Driven to achieve sales targets and able to motivate others to achieve.
  • A customer-first mentality with the ability to inspire this within their team and across the business.
  • A resilient, positive, and personable approach.
  • A calm and confident approach to problem-solving.
  • Empathy - able to put themselves in the customers’ shoes.
  • Experience of building strong relationships with suppliers and third parties.
  • Able to balance 'people’ and 'performance’.- Strong written and verbal skills.
