An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Qualified Children's Agency Shift Coordinator to join a bespoke care setting, providing 24/7 support for a 15-year-old child requiring 2:1 staffing at all times. This is a full-time role requiring availability for 12-hour shifts, both days and nights, ensuring continuity of care and effective team management.

The Shift Coordinator will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day care, ensuring that all aspects of the child's support needs and interventions are delivered in line with their Core Assessment, Care Plan, or Pathway Plan. Working closely alongside care and support workers, the postholder will provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on support to ensure high-quality care is maintained. The role involves effective staff deployment, ensuring that the right personnel are in place at all times to meet the complex needs of the young person.

This position requires strong management and leadership skills, flexibility, commitment, and the ability to build effective relationships within a multi-disciplinary team. The Shift Coordinator will also be responsible for quality assurance, system oversight, and ensuring that all interventions are delivered in line with clinical specialist input and best practices.

A confident use of the English language is required, as the role involves spoken communication with staff, external agencies, and professionals. The successful candidate must have an enhanced DBS check and hold a valid driving licence, as travel may be required as part of the role.
