Are you a Civil or Geotechnical Engineer with design experience looking to progress your career within a continuously expanding consultancy, working on a wide variety of technically exciting projects whilst overseeing a team of 10 Engineers, with a clear route to progress into Directorship?

In this hybrid role you will be designing a range of bridges, tunnels, and buildings, primarily within the rail sector, using materials such as concrete, steel and timber. You will be visiting customer sites, creating technical reports, whilst leading a team of junior and experienced Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Founded over 20 years ago, this specialist consultancy boast a team of over 60 employees and are looking to continue their steady expansion for years to come, spreading across the UK. They pride themselves on their highest level of service to clients such as Network Rail and Costain for example, with this role playing a heavy influence in the future success of the business.

This role would be perfect for a Civil or Geotechnical Engineer who thrives on building strong relationships with clients and securing new business opportunities, whilst wanting to lead the design and analysis process of major infrastructure projects overseeing a small team.

The Role:

  • Developing conceptual designs, drawings and reports, ensuring technical compliance
  • Designing bridges, tunnels, and buildings, for use in the rail and water sectors
  • Managing a team of 10 Engineers
  • Training available on specific design software
  • Hybrid, in the office three times a week, at home or on site twice a week
