Business Development Executive

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Executive to join a sales team in York. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating new business and revenue opportunities, as well as identifying and securing well-qualified appointments for our sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop revenue from existing customers through effective and regular contact
  • Maintain a high level of competitor awareness
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Acquire new business by identifying new markets and leads from existing customers
  • Work with the Sales Team to develop quotes, proposals, and other sales administration

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a 'new business' sales role
  • Strong ability to generate new business and identify new customer opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with sales administration and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
