Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team on a challenging and rewarding project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and organise all labour on site, including Sub Contractors.
  • Understand and manage company quality assurance in line with procedures.
  • Ensure all plant and labour resources are used efficiently on site.
  • Manage material deliveries and procurement in line with programme.
  • Maintaining and demonstrating high safety standards and ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit.
  • Understanding Seymour core values and demonstrating them daily.
  • Keeping site records and registers up to date in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
  • Review and approve time sheets, holidays and absence for direct Labour.
  • Effective material and waste management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, nearby residents and local communities.
  • Project a professional image at all times.
  • Computer literate including use of Office 365.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of commercial management.
  • Good analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Methodical approach to tasks undertaken.
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
  • Having an understanding surveying and setting out/engineering techniques using the latest technologies.

Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceA Site Manager / Agent would be expected to hold or be working towards the following:

  • Qualifications in HNC/ONC/Degree level
  • Extensive Knowledge of Construction Processes and Procedures.
  • Extensive Knowledge of current Health & Safety requirements.
  • Relevant site safety qualifications
  • CSCS Certification at site manager
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Confined Spaces (City & Guild)
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at Height
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • Manual Handling
  • NVQ L5 or 6 Site manager
  • SMSTS
  • Driving licence
  • First aid knowledge
  • A member of the CIOB, ICE or CEng.
  • Temporary works coordinator
  • RASWA Supervisor
  • NRASWA Streetworks (Supervisor)
  • Appointed Person
  • CAT and Genny
