ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER (RAIL) - YORKSHIRE / NORTH EAST ENGLAND - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - £27.52 per hour

ARM are working with a leading global engineering consultancy who are working on major projects across the globe. We are currently recruiting for Assistant Project Managers with rail experience to join the team in Yorkshire or the North East on a contract basis for an initial 12 month period.

About You:

  • You will be degree educated or equivalent with HND & HNC considered.
  • You will have experience of working within project management and a good understanding of project management processes.
  • Knowledge of Rail is needed, alongside the Health and Safety elements needed within a rail setting or construction setting.
  • Ideally you will have some knowledge of possession planning too.
  • A professional project management qualification such as APM would be desirable also.

What you will be doing:These roles will be working as part of a larger team working on early stage bidding process for a major railway project in the North of England. You will be working with the Project Management team to help deliver a successful and detailed bid for what will be a major new project.

These roles can be based in either York or Gateshead (whichever is closest to your home location) and will be working using the hybrid method with 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home. The role is full-time working 37.5 hours per week.

What you can expect in return:The rate for this position is up to £27.52 per hour (Umbrella) and has been deemed inside IR35. Approx £206 per day rate.
