Are you a strategic and hands-on leader looking to take ownership of engineering operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Head of Engineering Services to oversee and drive the performance of our Field Engineering teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality installations, servicing, and maintenance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, identifying risks, and implementing relevant training.
  • Oversee engineering operations across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality service delivery in installations, servicing, call-outs, and additional works.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures covering both technical and administrative functions to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor quality control standards and performance metrics to ensure excellence across all geographical locations.
  • Lead technical problem-solving initiatives, maintaining high engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and develop the Field Engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Proactively identify and drive necessary changes to align with business objectives, ensuring continuous service improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, providing insights on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong engineering background with experience in managing field-based teams.
  • Ability to set strategic direction and structure within the department.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost controls.
