PROJECT MANAGER

Great opportunity to join a growing project team in York. As Project manager you will work closely with key stakeholders and sponsors of the project to support the delivery with an inclusive approach to ongoing communication, to drive engagement and embedding of the changes. A SNAPSHOT OF THE PROJECT MANAGERS' DAY

  • Project manage transformation projects, supporting projects through procurement, planning and preparation (including data preparation), and to implementation and completion
  • Liaise with the project sponsor, project team members, staff and stakeholders
  • Manage, monitor and record progress on projects, tasks and budgets
  • Regularly promote the benefits / importance of the projects to colleagues across the organisation
  • Provide regular reports, support and assistance
  • Design and deliver lessons learned workshops throughout the project to ensure design thinking methodologies are incorporated throughout the project life cycle
  • Apply an inclusive and effective change management process and tools to create and deliver a strategy to support the embedding of the changes
  • Coach and mentor less experienced project team members as required
