Location: Yorkshire (hybrid working)
Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + up to 12.5% bonus Benefits: Excellent benefits package
The role of the Commercial Controller - Offsite Construction / Modular Buildings will involve:
- Commercial Controller position dealing with numerous modular accommodation rental projects
- Full responsibility for managing rental contracts from start to finish
- Approving subcontractor works orders for payment
- Manage application and certification process of projects
- Ensure that payments are paid on date and remain within margins
- Reconciliation of final accounts to be settled within two months of completion of the project
- Liaise with clients and management to update on project status
- Working on projects ranging in value from £6,000,000 - £10,000,000
The ideal applicant will be Commercial Controller - Offsite Construction / Modular Buildings with:
- Must have Commercial Controller, Junior Quantity Surveyor, or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry
- Ideally will have experience in the hire / rental market sector
- Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings
- Relevant HND qualification/ Quantity surveyor degree or similar advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
