Our client are a FTSE 100 listed company and one of the UK's largest home builders, operating nationwide and delivering approximately 10,000 homes annually.

Our client are currently seeking a Conveyancer to join our busy plot sales team in York. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently conducting plot sales, including part-exchange acquisitions, and ensuring exchanges are completed within the reservation period.

Your primary focus will be on plot sales, part exchanges, and purchases for designated Group Companies. Building strong relationships with purchaser's solicitors and our group legal department will be key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing estate documentation, sending out contract documentation, and managing the legal process.

To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing, practise, and procedure. Previous experience in handling plot sales for a residential house builder, either in-house or in private practise, would be advantageous. Proficiency in computer literacy, good social skills, and a confident telephone manner are essential. It is important that you can work independently without secretarial support, remain calm and organised under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
