Credit Controller /Administrator

York

Salary: £25k to £30k pa

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client near York to recruit an additional team member into the finance team .

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller / Administrator, who is studying or looking to study their AAT.

Purpose:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller/ Administrator is responsible for managing the debts of the business, along with providing administrative support to the Finance, Sales and Client Services departments within the company.

Main Responsibilities Credit Controller/Administrator

  • Managing and collecting debts from the company’s debtors
  • Ensuring the timely collection of debt with agreed terms
  • Following up on payments as needed
  • Responding the client’s enquiries
  • Agreeing potential repayment plans with the Account Management Team
  • Checking and posting of receipts
  • Provide cover within the Finance Team
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the processing of core accounts functions.
  • Other accountancy/administrative duties as and when required.

Hours of work :8.30am-5pm Mon- Thurs , 8.30am-4pm Fri
