JOB TITLE - Tutor ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for Tutors to work with young people across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Acting as a work-finding service, we provide tutors to a range of Local Authorities and Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools. We are looking for Tutors to provide lessons for Reception students through to post-16 learners who have strong mentoring skills and are passionate about teaching. Prospero Teaching work with both experienced tutors who do not hold QTS and fully qualified, experienced teachers. Some tuition placements are short-term but many extend to last a full year or more. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS 路 Location - Various locations across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire 路 Position - Tutor 路 Type of work - Tuition - short, medium and long-term tutoring roles 路 Start date - ASAP 路 Duration / Likely Duration - Most tuition placements last at least 3 months 路 End date (if applicable) - N/A 路 Contract type - Temporary 路 Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on needs 路 Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP25 per hour 路 Hours - Flexible between 8:30 am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS 路 QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (desirable but not essential) 路 Previous experience working with young people 路 Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (Prospero can provide this) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: 路 Hold Right to Work in the UK 路 Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application 路 Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
