Due to the continued and exciting growth of one of our clients, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor for their growing team. This role is based in the York Ring Road.

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for customer service that also have the ability to upsell additional company products and retain existing customers when coming to renew.

Starting salary of £25.5k rising to potentially 27k+ after probation plus monthly uncapped bonus! OTE around £31k+.

Working pattern:

  • 5 days a week
  • Working either 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm or 12pm-8pm which you will know the rota in advance
  • Rotating weekends with days off during the week (weekends will be 8 hours between 8-6pm)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both customers and partners of the business through a variety of contact channels.
  • Maximising revenue opportunities through upselling products.
  • Calling customers whose payments have failed/cards have expired to gain up to date details.
  • Calling clients who have shown interest in the products to follow up on any questions.
  • Upselling products to prospective and current customers.
  • Achieving KPI’s and customer SLAs.
  • Completing any necessary administration after calls.
  • Completing customer orders both over the phone and electronically.
  • Handling the customer service email inbox and responding to customers in a timely manner.

Experience required:

  • Confident working with multiple contact types, such as telephone, social media, webchat and email.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Upselling experience 
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Drive to achieve KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
