Situated on the picturesque West Cliff, our home has been with our family for nearly 2 decades and in the last 5 years, we've run the home as a holiday let.

We take absolute pride in our home and use this for ourselves and family members as a wonderful retreat as well as allowing guests from far and wide to stay.

Many of our guests are families, quiet couples and friendship groups ages 30+

As we are a holiday let, we will have at any one point up to3 cleans per week, with many being changeover days. Due to the popularity of our home, and repeat guests we are generally booked all year round.

Who you are

• An experienced housekeeper with at least 3 years experience working in commercial holiday lets/hotels/short term accommodation
• A person with integrity, who can identify areas of concern and feedback to us on all matters to enhance our guests stay (ie, light bulbs to change, stock to replenish, general repairs etc)
• Available to perform changeover and general cleans for a 3-bedroomed property with modest lounge/dining area within the allocated times (10am - 3pm)
• Available to perform cleans on weekends as and when required
• Honest and trustworthy with qualified references
• For ease of changeovers, sometimes willing to swap bedding and clean these in your own premises (of which we will compensate)
• Flexible to occasionally replenish stock items in the home of which will be paid for you (eg. coffee, toilet roll, cleaning products etc)
• You don't believe in "deep cleans" as you clean thoroughly every time!

• Hardworking owners who take pride in their home and expect anyone who enter to also do so
• Honest and respectful
• We are not looking to partner with a large cleaning organisation or work with a supply chain.We won't work with cleaners who also offer substitutions / replacements without interview / references first
• Dog lovers who also allow guests to bring their four-legged furry friends to stay

What we offer

• Depending on experience and references obtained we offer between £12 and £15 per hour
• 1 to 3 cleans per week
• We do not allow bookings of less than 3 days however we allow guests the option to arrive/leave on weekends
• Monthly pay
• All cleaning tools and materials for you to carry out the work (you are free to provide your own however this will be at your own cost)

The hiring process will be

• Initial phone conversation with either Andrew or Alex (owners)
• Follow up meeting in person at the property so you can understand the scale of each clean, the requirements and scope of the home
• Apaidtrial clean where we will assess the quality and allow you time to provide any additional questions, concerns or general observations
• An offer and welcome to the family!
