Live In Housekeeper / Cook Job - Nr York North Yorkshire - start ASAP - £40,000+ depending on experience

Our clients are looking for an experienced Housekeeper / Cook for their large Manor House home to family of 5 and 2 pet dogs located close to York. They are looking for someone with experience and with an eye for detail and who can generally help keep the home running smoothly.

Duties will include

All housekeeping to a good standard including the care of fine fabrics, stone floors and wood paneling
Laundry including hand washing
Wardrobe Management
Tidying and organising the home
Family cooking
Helping with the children on an ad hoc basis (some supervision and babysitting)
Errand running and other domestic duties in relation to the smooth running of busy family life

Driver ideal but not essential

Accommodation - Private bedroom and bathroom on own floor with private staircase - use of the family kitchen

50 hours per week - Ideal core hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 - 20:30 (with some flexibility and regular evening babysitting) however Monday to Friday / Monday to Saturday will also be considered for the right candidate

£40,000+ gross per year depending on experience
