Electrical Engineering ManagerYork£50,000 - £55,000 + Mon - Fri + Overtime + 50/50 off the tools + Company BenefitsAre you an experience Electrical Engineer with management experience looking to join one of the leading food distributors in the UK, who offer you more responsibility with office-based duties, the opportunity to manage a small team and grow the business in a stable, long-term position?On offer is the opportunity to join a leading UK distributor of mushrooms, they supply into retailers nationwide including leading supermarkets Aldi and Co-Op and are aiming to take on more supermarkets in the near future. They currently have plans to treble their production in the next 2 years - so are looking for the next manager to increase efficiency and manage their production facility effectively.This autonomous role will see you overseeing a team of 3 multiskilled engineers, being 50% hands on, 50% office based, in charge of KPI's such as downtime, PPE's, stock control and continuous improvement. You will arrange pre-planned maintenance, attend breakdowns and schedule engineers work, and be hands on with conveyor's, belt's, platform's, packaging and sorting machinery.This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a management background, looking to take on the responsibility of 4 Engineers, remain 50% hands on, grow the production facilities capabilities and have a long term, stable career with a growing company who looks after their people.The Role:

  • 50% hands on, 50% office based, working on FMCG machinery
  • Organising pre-planned maintenance and covering breakdowns
  • Analysing trends to help operational efficiency
  • Monday to Friday - no weekends
