About Us

We are a well-established meat manufacturing business based in York, supplying high-quality products to the UK’s leading retailers. With a focus on efficiency, quality, and innovation, we are seeking a skilled Electrically Biased Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production facility.

The Role

As an Electrically Biased Engineer, you will be responsible for:? Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems across the site.? Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and optimise performance.? Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production equipment.? Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing standards.? Working collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

? A qualified electrical engineer with experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.? Strong electrical fault-finding skills, ideally with experience working with PLCs and automated machinery.? Some mechanical knowledge to support wider engineering tasks.? A proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail.? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
