A great opportunity has arisen for a technical support engineer to join a leading manufacturing company who supply world class products to the offshore industry

Job Description:

  • Ensure that products meet market and customer requirements.
  • Create and manage build, test, and production procedures.
  • Oversee and update user manuals for electronic systems.
  • Conduct online product demonstrations and create digital content like webinars.
  • Provide technical insights for sales and marketing materials.
  • Handle customer support inquiries and document corrective actions.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed market standards through testing.
  • Log and review customer support issues and take corrective actions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to translate technical specifications into user-friendly documentation.
  • Occasionally visit customers to provide technical support and gather feedback.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Educated in an electronical or electric background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, understanding of electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and ability to write technical reports.
  • Manufacturing environment experience, ideally from a hands-on tool based role
  • Customer facing
  • Ability to produce technical reports / manuals
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
  • 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
