A great opportunity has arisen for a technical support engineer to join a leading manufacturing company who supply world class products to the offshore industry
Job Description:
- Ensure that products meet market and customer requirements.
- Create and manage build, test, and production procedures.
- Oversee and update user manuals for electronic systems.
- Conduct online product demonstrations and create digital content like webinars.
- Provide technical insights for sales and marketing materials.
- Handle customer support inquiries and document corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet or exceed market standards through testing.
- Log and review customer support issues and take corrective actions.
- Work closely with internal teams to translate technical specifications into user-friendly documentation.
- Occasionally visit customers to provide technical support and gather feedback.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Educated in an electronical or electric background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, understanding of electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and ability to write technical reports.
- Manufacturing environment experience, ideally from a hands-on tool based role
- Customer facing
- Ability to produce technical reports / manuals
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
- 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
