My client, a Tier One Main Contractor are seeking an experienced and driven Sub Agent to join their existing team on a prestigious 100M infrastructure project in York. This ambitious project involves the development of essential infrastructure that will leave a lasting impact on the region.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering key aspects of the project while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Project Features include the construction of a new road bridge and footbridge over the East Coast Main Line, delivery of 2km of single carriageway road with segregated cycle and pedestrian paths, development of a rail spur to the National Railway Museum,earthworks and site-wide utility works.

Responsibilities:

  • The delivery of Health. Safety and Environmental presentations. Examples Include project Inductions, tool box talks, and team briefings. Provides Input on the content of presentations.
  • Manage, supervise and mentor, graduate, site and section engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and project records
  • Implementation of company quality control process including the preparation and/or review of Inspection & Test Plans. Can readily display advanced knowledge of key packages such as concrete, drainage, steelwork and brickwork.
  • Preparation and monitoring of 4 weekly construction programmes or, where appropriate, provides Information to the project planner to allow programmes lo be updated.

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in the Design Management Process
Temporary works experience
Understanding of current H&S legislation
Experience managing a team of engineers
