Marketing & Events Coordinator
Are you looking to join a dynamic team in a vibrant and incomparable working environment that values your creativity and contributions? We are working exclusively with the beautiful Ampleforth College to find a very special Marketing & Events Coordinator.
Located in a beautiful North Yorkshire valley, Ampleforth College is the world’s foremost Catholic boarding school, welcoming girls and boys of all faiths aged 11-18. They offer a holistic education and nurture each student’s unique talents in an extremely unique environment.
As the Marketing & EventsCoordinator you will play a crucial role in managing and evolving the College’s student recruitment and other event programmes.
By supporting the various works of this collaborative team, you will be ensuring communications and activities with parents and prep. schools are maintained and new relationships fostered and developed.
The position of Marketing & Events Coordinator will involve the following:
- Steering the planning, promotion and execution of recruitment events both at the College and throughout the UK and overseas; including Open Mornings, Assessment and Scholarship Days, prospective parent events, experiences for prep. school groups, school fairs and shows
- Working closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure all events are fully advertised and marketed including web presence, booking forms, digital marketing and social media coverage
- Attending all events at the College and other external events (where helpful) and act as an ambassador for the College
- Working closely with other departments to ensure an active calendar of events which meets the needs of all constituents
To excel in this role as a Marketing & Events Coordinator, you should have:
- Ability to communicate confidently, both on the telephone and face-to-face, with a broad cross section of people with a ready and welcoming smile and approach in all situations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events taking place in a short space of time, and sometimes overseas
- Exceptional organisational skills; able to see a process or project through to conclusion with determination and staying power
- Flexibility with hours and days of work to attend events and be 'the face’ of the College
- Experience in a similar role
- Own transport
This is very much a hands on position and not a 'desk bound' role, you will need to want to run the events as well as know how to attract the right people to come to them!
Pay: £25-30K depending upon experience
