We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Machine Operative to work for our client based on the outskirts of York. This will be working on a Rota of 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights. You will be operative machinery as well as a FLT (training provided).
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for the safe and clean production of products including carrying out specific operations within the production process such as: intake, plant cleaning and basic maintenance.
This role involves shift work, and post-holders are expected to follow the rota system.
We are looking for someone with high standards, who can remain accurate while working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferably applicants would have previous experience within a Production/manufacturing environment.
The basic starting salary is £25,479 k until you pass your probationary period, then you qualify for a production bonus which brings your salary to around £36k you can also put in for overtime which is paid at 1.5 - If you put in the overtime you can achieve £40k plus
