Assistant Farm Manager (Poultry)

Winner Recruitment are currently looking for Assistant Farm Managers based in York for a well known client. This is a Full time permanent position from day 1.

£29,(Apply online only) - £31,(Apply online only) Per annum

Job Duties:
  • Assist the Farm Manager in overseeing all operations related to poultry farming
  • Manage and supervise farm staff
  • Ensure the health and welfare of the poultry livestock
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards on the farm
  • Monitor and maintain farm equipment and machinery
  • Keep accurate records of farm activities and production data
  • Assist in developing and implementing farm policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders as necessary
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in poultry farming
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills
  • Thorough understanding of poultry farming practises
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in agriculture
  • Proficiency in farm equipment operation and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in poultry management
