As Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operations and commercial teams of a well-established and growing construction business. This role will involve financial analysis and modelling, preparing boards reports, and business partnering key internal stakeholders to drive business decisions and ensure financial stability within the organisation.

Description

  • Analysing financial data and providing actionable insights to the team.
  • Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align financial goals and strategies.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of budgets.
  • Actively involved in forecasting process and review
  • Identifying financial risks and opportunities.
  • Sales reporting and KPI reporting to generate understanding of current market
  • Preparing internal presentations and board reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Business Partnering other functions around the business to provide support and challenge as required

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Analyst should have:

  • Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent grounding in financial reporting/management accounting
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with financial software and systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Confident business partner, with an ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
