Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting new challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a well-established company. Based in York, this role offers competitive salary and benefits, alongside the chance to work closely with senior leadership to shape the financial direction of the business. The role is office-based and ideal for a candidate that has strong financial management experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions, including payroll, reporting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, debtor management, and supplier relations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow while negotiating favourable supplier terms.
- Consolidate financial data across divisions to produce accurate reports for senior leadership.
- Lead financial meetings and assist with strategic financial planning and forecasting.
What Experience is Required:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or alternatively qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple business units or locations ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong expertise in cash flow management and financial reporting.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £50,000 per annum.
- Benefits include a company laptop and phone, pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and a generous staff discount.
Location:
The role is based in York, with easy commutes from Harrogate, Driffield and Selby.
