Description
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the organisation
- Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board
- Monitor and manage organisational cash flow
- Ensure financial compliance with regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement financial strategy to support organisational growth
- Work closely with other department heads to align financial and operational goals
- Identify opportunities for financial efficiency's and improvements
Profile
A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience in financial leadership within the Charity sector
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance (Charity SORP)
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A commitment to community development and empowerment
