I am now delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a Part Time Finance Manager to join a highly successful family owned SME with beautiful offices based in North Yorkshire - the offices are easily accessible from Harrogate ad surrounding, Wetherby or York.This is a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will take full responsibility for assisting in producing the monthly management accounts, P&L, budgets and forecasts, as well as overseeing the Accounts Assistant,The business is offering lots of flexibility when it comes to the hours - they are happy for the 20-25 hours per week to be worked over 3, 4 or 5 days to suit you!**This opportunity would be ideally suited to someone who is fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA who enjoys a a varied role and hands on role within a fast paced SME environment***The key duties of the role will include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts 
  • Month end journal postings
  • Balance sheets reconciliations
  • VAT returns – preparation & submission
  • Responsibility for the sales invoice & credit control processes as and when required
  • Monthly P&L
  • Cashflow management including cashflow forecasting
  • Supporting trainee staff member on use of system & correct accounting treatment
The successful candidate will:
  • Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified  - Essential
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar management accounts/finance manager role - Essential
  • Have previous experience of Sage - Desirable
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with non finance and stakeholders - Essential
