We are currently looking for a Remote Paraplanner to join our clients, a highly successful and expanding practice in North Yorkshire.

The successful Paraplanner will be offered:

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday | 9 – 5
  • Remote working

To be considered for the Paraplanner role you must have:

  • 2 years of previous experience working within an IFA practice
  • Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, and meet targets and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities for the role of Paraplanner:

  • Preparing analysis of the client’s existing portfolio
  • Provision of technical support to Advisers
  • Completing calculations (i.e., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension
  • Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc.)
  • Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice
  • Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation
  • Adherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service
  • Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
