- Conduct research on investment, pension wrappers and funds, (typically using Defaqto & MICAP) and insurance policies (typically using Exchange) to support advice provided by Financial Planners.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information is maintained on our Xplan based CRM system. Also to assist in the preparation of client files.
- Prepare and draft suitability reports, including recommendations in line with clients’ needs and objectives. Preparation of suitability reports along with research are the key responsibilities of the role.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory requirements, including FCA guidelines, GDPR and anti-money laundering procedures.
- The role will also include communicating directly with clients via phone or email when required, answering queries and ensuring a high level of client service.
- Provide general administrative support to Financial Planners and the wider team, including liaising with platform and product providers.
- Staying up to date with industry regulations, trends, and financial products to provide the most relevant support to the team.
