Fram are working with a a growing wealth management business, helping clients achieve their financial goals through expert, tailored and independent advice. Our client is continuing to expand, and they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our dynamic team, who working closely with our Accountancy colleagues.  The Paraplanner will support the financial planning team in delivering exceptional service to clients by assisting with the preparation of financial plans – meeting notes, fact finds and suitability reports, ensuring all necessary research, documentation, and administrative processes are professionally and efficiently handled. The Paraplanner will be responsible for dealing with client data and assisting with both initial and ongoing advice requirements. The role is hybrid 2 days home once passed probation, the firm offer great benefits and regular training and development.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on investment, pension wrappers and funds, (typically using Defaqto & MICAP) and insurance policies (typically using Exchange) to support advice provided by Financial Planners.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information is maintained on our Xplan based CRM system. Also to assist in the preparation of client files.
  • Prepare and draft suitability reports, including recommendations in line with clients’ needs and objectives. Preparation of suitability reports along with research are the key responsibilities of the role.
  • Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory requirements, including FCA guidelines, GDPR and anti-money laundering procedures.
  • The role will also include communicating directly with clients via phone or email when required, answering queries and ensuring a high level of client service.
  • Provide general administrative support to Financial Planners and the wider team, including liaising with platform and product providers.
  • Staying up to date with industry regulations, trends, and financial products to provide the most relevant support to the team.
  The ideal candidate will currently be a Paraplanner in a similar financial planning support role. Experience in preparing FCA compliant suitability reports and research is a must. Knowledge of Xplan and other industry software such as Defaqto, Exchange, MICAP, Genovo, and VCT & EIS structures would be ideal. Hold the DipFa or level 4 equivalent. Be highly organised, with good attention to detail, good communication skills,  proactive, team and client focused.
