In line with continued expansion, our client is looking to strengthen their UK transport and warehousing team by hiring a Transport & Warehouse Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company, playing a key role in managing UK distribution and warehousing activities. Based at their North Yorkshire site, the successful candidate will oversee stock control, storage services, and UK distribution for their UK and European client base.

Key Responsibilities for Transport & Warehouse Coordinator:

• Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers via phone and email.
• Book in stock and coordinate storage services.
• Manage ancillary services, including bagging, picking, packing, and labeling.
• Arrange UK transport collections and deliveries, from small samples to full loads.
• Generate and calculate freight quotations.
• Raise and manage administrative paperwork.
• Assist in the warehouse when required.

Candidate Requirements for Transport & Warehouse Coordinator:

? Transport & warehousing experience.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.

? Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

? A team player with a strong work ethic.

? Numerical proficiency for handling stock and freight calculations.

? IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
