Your new companyA leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in Planning, Design and the Environment with a fast-growing Ecology team. Their main body of work spans Planning, Architecture, Arboriculture and Ecology across the UK. They are looking for passionate and dedicated Ecologists to join a fast-growing, unique and rewarding organisation.
They are developing and overhauling their fast growing Ecology and environmental team, evidenced by recent delivery of some of the largest solar / battery storage schemes in the UK. They aim to maintain high performance delivery of complex projects in the energy, residential and infrastructure sectors.Your new roleThis organisation is open to applications of varying level from Assistant to Senior consultant, with flexible salaries to reflect different experience levels. Preference is to be based from the York office but open to applications UK wide (depending on project requirements). You could expect to work on projects across the country.
As an Arboriculture Consultant, you'll be working closely with the wider environmental team and Director of Arboriculture, an excellent opportunity to develop your skills to become a more well-rounded consultant.
Main duties could include...
- Deliver arboriculture surveys and assessments including BS:5837
- Ensuring that the team's objectives are efficiently achieved
- Attending team meetings
- Communicate internally with colleagues and externally to clients to ensure project delivery
What you'll need to succeed
- Arboriculture experience in consultancy, local authority or other technical capacity
- Relevant degree or Arboriculture diploma / qualification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to lead surveys
- Full UK driving license
