This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of up to £180,000 per annum, with the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours. For those seeking greater work-life balance, there is also the option to compress working hours.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide specialist psychiatric care to patients on a female ward with complex needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and oversee the mental health care of patients.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, and social workers.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Mental Health Act.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
  • Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex cases within female psychiatric wards.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a patient-centred approach.
