About the Company:

They are an industry leading specialist in commercial interiors, providing high quality office refurbishments and shop fitting services to a large client base across the UK. As a result of their continued success, they are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their team based in their fast-paced Head Office on the outskirts of York.

About the Role:

The role is varied, and the ideal candidate will have experience of building industry and have the ability to work using their own initiative, prioritising workloads effectively.

Duties:

  • To create detailed quotations for clients.
  • To interpret construction drawings and specification information.
  • To complete tender documents.
  • To develop the internal company pricing mechanisms.
  • Monitor and analyse project expenditure.
  • To correspond effectively with clients and others project stake holders.
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills with both suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Able to demonstrate a methodical and detailed approach to working practises.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous Experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
