Job description

As a HSQE Coordinator you will be required to:

  • Work to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Ensure effective management of SHEQ processes
  • Provide administrative support in SHEQ meetings
  • Lead effective document control and coordination of Management Systems
  • Be the first point of contact for any interaction with Lloyds Register and other external auditors
  • Assist the planning of third party audits and coordinate internal audits to ensure ISO standards are being met
  • Liaise with departmental manager to follow up on any non-conformances
  • Champion Health & Safety on site and actively promote a safety culture
  • Help carry out risk assessments and putting counter measures in place to prevent accidents
  • Create a record of accidents with statistics and correlations
  • Keep up to date with new legislation company and other safety information and brief the management team accordingly

The ideal HSQE Coordinator:

  • IOSH / NEBOSH (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation
  • Previously worked in a similar role
  • Background in the Forces or logistics would be advantageous - engineering and manufacturing will also be considered
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
  • A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Full UK driving license

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
