As a HSQE Coordinator you will be required to:
- Work to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Ensure effective management of SHEQ processes
- Provide administrative support in SHEQ meetings
- Lead effective document control and coordination of Management Systems
- Be the first point of contact for any interaction with Lloyds Register and other external auditors
- Assist the planning of third party audits and coordinate internal audits to ensure ISO standards are being met
- Liaise with departmental manager to follow up on any non-conformances
- Champion Health & Safety on site and actively promote a safety culture
- Help carry out risk assessments and putting counter measures in place to prevent accidents
- Create a record of accidents with statistics and correlations
- Keep up to date with new legislation company and other safety information and brief the management team accordingly
The ideal HSQE Coordinator:
- IOSH / NEBOSH (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation
- Previously worked in a similar role
- Background in the Forces or logistics would be advantageous - engineering and manufacturing will also be considered
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
- A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
- The ability to work autonomously
- Full UK driving license
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
