Harte Recruitment is seeking motivated and dynamic professionals for an exciting Sales Negotiator role based in York City Centre, that even comes with its own FREE parking space!

We are seeking a Sales Negotiator to join an established residential sales team in the vibrant city of York! As Sales Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in managing property sales, assisting vendors, and marketing properties to enhance visibility. Collaborating closely with colleagues, you will oversee the sales process from start to finish, conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout.

The package:

  • Basic Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum (DOE) and OTE £30K +
  • Monday to Friday 08:45 17:00 + alternate Saturdays, 08:45 12:00
  • 28 days holiday entitlement, increasing to 33 days upon reaching 5 years of service (including bank holidays)

The role:

  • Assist clients in the buying and selling of property, managing the sales process from listing to completion.
  • Handle onboarding for new vendors, coordinating valuations and discussing terms of service.
  • Prepare and oversee the marketing of properties, including brochures, advertisements, and viewings.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors, providing updates and discussing marketing strategies.
  • Manage the due diligence process for vendors and applicants, including "Smart" searches.
  • Efficiently manage the offer process, negotiating offers and confirming acceptance in writing.
  • Progress sales by liaising with all parties involved and setting completion dates.
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to company standards of service and health and safety.

The person:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in residential sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with property management software (preferably Reapit).
  • Knowledge of the local property market and its trends.
  • A network of industry contacts to aid in generating new business.
  • Relevant qualifications in residential sales.
