- Develop and coach a team of Functional Skills Tutors, conducting regular 1:1s and observations to ensure continuous improvement within their delivery.
- Demonstrate best teaching practice to your team by delivering English, Maths, and ICT Functional Skills sessions to small groups of learners, focus on showcasing planning, engagement, differentiation, assessment, and reflection.
- To identify any additional training or support needs within your team, to ensure that a high-quality learning experience is provided for all learners.
- Must be an experienced Functional Skills Tutor, with demonstrable leadership skills (supporting / coaching other Tutors)
- Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
